Accountant

At Arabian Construction Company (ACC), we believe that behind every successful project is a strong financial backbone. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support multi-entity, project-driven operations in a fast-paced environment. This role suits finance professionals with 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably within construction or reputable audit firms.

What You’ll Achieve

Transactional Accounting

• Post daily journal entries and maintain accurate GL across multiple entities/projects.

• Ensure complete supporting documentation and correct cost center/project coding.

• Maintain fixed assets subledger (additions, disposals, depreciation).

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Run the 3-way match (PO–GRN–Invoice) and process vendor payments on time.

• Verify quantities/prices with Procurement/Site before release.

• Manage AR invoicing, aging, and collections follow-up.

Reconciliations & Closings

• Prepare bank, vendor, and intercompany reconciliations.

• Book accruals/prepaids and assist in monthly/quarterly/year-end closing.

• Produce standard financial schedules and variance analyses.

Compliance, Tax & Audit

• Support VAT/withholding compliance and documentation.

• Adhere to internal controls and company policies; help improve process efficiency.

• Coordinate with external and internal auditors and prepare required files.

What You’ll Bring to ACC

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• 3–5 years of well-rounded accounting experience (construction/audit background is a plus).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling); good Word/PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (preferably SAP or Oracle).
• Solid grasp of core accounting principles and closing disciplines.
• High attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Very good English (written and spoken).
