Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with strong experience in real estate finance, FTA regulations, VAT compliance, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations, maintaining accurate financial records, managing cash flow, coordinating with developers for commissions, and supporting management with timely financial insights. The role also requires close coordination with HR for payroll and WPS compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee accounting operations related to real estate sales, rentals, and commissions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE FTA regulations, VAT requirements, and AML laws.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, financial statements, and other statutory reports.
• Regularly monitor and update cash flow statements and provide financial analysis to management.
• Coordinate with developers to confirm commission structures, receivables, and payment schedules.
• Work closely with HR to manage payroll and WPS compliance in line with UAE labor laws.
• Handle accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and bank transactions.
• Track budgets, forecasts, and expenses to support financial planning.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and government authorities when required.
• Provide management with accurate financial analysis and recommendations for decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred).
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably in the real estate sector.
• Strong knowledge of UAE tax laws, FTA regulations, VAT filing, and AML compliance.
• Proven experience with real estate finance, commission tracking, and developer payments.
• Familiarity with WPS and payroll management.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems) and strong MS Excel skills.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
