Accountant

We are a rapidly growing group of restaurants dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences. To support our expansion, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to oversee daily financial operations, reporting, and month-end activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily sales across assigned restaurant outlets.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform bank reconciliations and promptly report discrepancies.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and track capital expenditures (Capex).
• Review and monitor cost reports, ensuring accuracy and investigating variances.
• Manage and process monthly payroll in compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing of accounts.
• Prepare reports on discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Handle VAT filing and related compliance in line with Bahrain regulations.
• Support in internal and external audits by preparing and providing required financial documents.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and controls.
• Coordinate with restaurant managers and operations teams to streamline financial processes.
• Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Knowledge of VAT regulations, payroll processing, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
