Accountant

Core responsibilities

• Transaction and payment processing: Record and process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable for vendors and carriers.
• Expense tracking: Maintain detailed records of all logistics-related costs, such as transportation, warehousing, fuel, and other expenditures.
• Financial reporting and analysis: Prepare financial statements, analyze cost data, and provide financial insights to support management decisions.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and other financial records.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and external regulations.
• Month-end close: Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Audit support: Assist with internal and external audits and prepare necessary documentation.
