Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. Your expertise will contribute to the financial health and success of our company

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows) and effectively convey analysis to staff as requested
  • Assist in preparing year-end books for audit
  • Process vendor payments, issue invoices and check requests
  • Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts as assigned
  • Assist in reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis as indicated by the monthly closing schedule
  • Streamlining procurement process, handling petty cash and payroll for the organization
  • Perform basic office management duties as requested

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA or Part qualified CA certification is highly desirable
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with a focus on accounting and reporting
  • Well organised with good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Work effectively with staff and public
  • Work independently
  • Organise tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks
  • Demonstrate good judgement and good problem-solving skills
  • Respond appropriately to evaluation and changes in the work setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs120,000.00 per month
