Job Title: Accountant

Role Overview:

AKW Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage bookkeeping, maintain accurate financial records, and oversee day-to-day expense management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Monitor and manage company expenses, ensuring timely recording and reporting.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports as required.
  • Assist with audits, budgeting, and forecasting activities when necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and data accuracy.
  • Maintain organized documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong accounting background with sound knowledge of bookkeeping and financial principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: ACCA Qualified / CA Finalist / CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
