Accountant

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at MARMARA GOLD TRADING LLC located in Dubai. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our bullion trading business. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience in the precious metals or commodities trading sector. The Accountant will be responsible for financial reporting, analyzing financial data, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. The role will also involve maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records for all bullion trading activities, including purchases, sales, hedging transactions, and inventory management.
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable related to bullion transactions and supplier settlements.

Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for transaction processing, LC settlements, and bank reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Financial Reporting and Analysis skills

Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience within the bullion

Familiarity with bullion inventory management systems and financial reporting software.

• Experience in preparing balance sheets and profit and loss statements
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records and reconcile bank statements
• Familiarity with financial regulations
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification is a plus
