Accountant

Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant to manage and oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience working with Tally software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit-and-loss reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Process payroll and maintain employee payment records.
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary financial data during audits.
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP software is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
