Senior Accountant - Finance and Taxation Specialist

As a Senior Accountant in our finance and taxation department, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial activities of the company. This includes preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for providing financial guidance to management and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Provide financial guidance to management for decision making
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Identify areas for cost reduction or revenue enhancement
• Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes
• Prepare tax returns and coordinate with external auditors as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or finance role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax laws/regulations
• Experience with budgeting/forecasting processes
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred

• CPA certification or equivalent
• Experience working in a multinational company
• Fluency in Urdu or Malayalam

Salary: $1700 per month

City: Khalifah A City (Preference for Pakistani or Malayalee candidates)
