Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Accountant who will play a key role in managing the organization’s day-to-day financial operations across accounting, taxation, and compliance. You will support bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliations while ensuring accuracy in reporting and adherence to statutory requirements. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will handle vendor payments, payroll assistance, and audit coordination.
Success in this role is defined by maintaining precise financial records, timely compliance with tax obligations, and contributing to the company’s overall financial efficiency and integrity.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain and update daily accounting transactions in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices, client billing, and fee collections.
• Prepare and process GST, TDS, and other statutory filings accurately and on time.
• Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and maintain petty cash accounts.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring accurate profit & loss and balance sheet reports.
• Support payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and expense tracking.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits, ensuring timely responses and documentation.
• Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting on utilization trends.
• Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights for management decision-making.
• Collaborate with project, finance, and administrative teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting accuracy and efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
