Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage the financial operations of our furniture retail and import business. The ideal candidate should have experience in bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, supplier payments, and inventory accounting, preferably in a trading or retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update daily accounting records in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar).
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, supplier invoices, and customer ledgers.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
• Record import expenses, customs duties, and shipment cost allocations.
• Manage petty cash and ensure accurate documentation of all transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts regularly.
• Support external audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams for stock and payment accuracy.
• Assist management in budgeting and cash flow management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience (retail or trading sector preferred).
• Proficiency in QuickBooks / Excel / ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax compliance.
• Attention to detail, confidentiality, and integrity are essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
