Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Accountant who has a strong background in the alcohol and liquor industry. The candidate must have hands-on experience with excise accounting, permits, and inventory management related to liquor products. The role involves complete ownership of financial and statutory compliance within the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations — including purchase, sales, and inventory accounting for liquor products.

Maintain accurate excise records, permits, challans, and duty documentation as per state excise laws.

Ensure timely excise returns and compliance with regulatory authorities.

Perform stock reconciliation between bonded warehouses, distributors, and retail outlets.

Prepare and verify invoices, debit/credit notes, and ensure accuracy of all accounting entries.

Handle GST, TDS, and statutory filings relevant to the alcohol business.

Support internal and statutory audits, providing all necessary reports and documentation.

Prepare MIS reports, P&L summaries, and financial statements periodically.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.

2–5 years of accounting experience specifically in the alcohol/liquor industry (mandatory).

Strong knowledge of state excise laws, duty structures, and compliance procedures.

Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and other accounting tools.

Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹8,278.34 - ₹45,046.37 per month
