Job Title: Accountant (with Odoo Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant who is proficient in general accounting principles and Odoo ERP software. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, manage financial records, and support reporting and analysis processes using Odoo.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and record all day-to-day financial transactions.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
  • Monitor and manage petty cash and expense reports.
  • Generate financial reports and dashboards using Odoo.
  • Maintain general ledger and ensure timely closing of accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and support VAT filing.
  • Assist with audits and internal financial reviews.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate data entry and system integration in Odoo.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records.

Qualifications and Skills (English):

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the UAE.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is a must.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
