Job Title: Accountant (with Odoo Experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant who is proficient in general accounting principles and Odoo ERP software. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, manage financial records, and support reporting and analysis processes using Odoo.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and record all day-to-day financial transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
- Monitor and manage petty cash and expense reports.
- Generate financial reports and dashboards using Odoo.
- Maintain general ledger and ensure timely closing of accounts.
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and support VAT filing.
- Assist with audits and internal financial reviews.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate data entry and system integration in Odoo.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records.
Qualifications and Skills (English):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is a must.
- Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
