Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting transactions, bookkeeping, and reconciliation.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for both company and event operations.
- Manage vendor payments, staff payroll, and petty cash accounts.
- Prepare profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Monitor and control event budgets and ensure expense alignment.
- Handle invoices, receipts, and payment follow-ups from vendors and sponsors.
- Support in financial planning, auditing, and reporting to management.
- Coordinate with external auditors and banks when required.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience in UAE (preferably in events, exhibitions, or hospitality).
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books).
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure during event operations.
- Knowledge of VAT filing and compliance procedures.
