Position Title: Accountant
Company: MORE International Engineering Consultancy
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and record daily accounting transactions in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and file VAT returns in accordance with UAE tax regulations.
• Monitor project-related expenses and maintain accurate cost records.
• Coordinate with external auditors and relevant authorities when required.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure confidentiality of financial records.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the UAE, preferably within an engineering consultancy or contracting company.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho, or ERP systems).
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT and local financial regulations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Arabic nationality preferred.
• Strong command of English (Arabic proficiency is an advantage).
