Accountant

We are a one of the growing travel company based in Ernakulam, specializing in international tour packages, holiday planning, and complete travel solutions. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team and manage our financial operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare invoices for customers, vendors, hotels, airlines, and other travel partners.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial record-keeping.
• Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways, and vendor statements.
• Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance as per Kerala/India regulations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, P&L reports, and assist in budgeting.
• Manage petty cash, payroll, and expense reports.
• Work closely with the sales & operations team to update booking-related financial entries.
• Follow up on outstanding client/vendor payments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (experience in the travel industry is an added advantage).
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of GST and Indian tax compliance.
• Good command of MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
