Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations for the hotel department, including recording financial transactions and preparing reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal controls relevant to the hotel sector.
  • Prepare journal entries and support general ledger reconciliations for hotel-related accounts.
  • Generate routine financial reports and provide data to senior accountants or the Finance Manager for review.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Operations, Sales) by providing basic financial data and assisting with performance analysis.
  • Support the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations specific to the hotel industry.
  • Participate in internal audits by providing documentation and ensuring accuracy of financial records.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards and practices relevant to the hospitality sector.
  • Assist the Finance Manager and senior accountants in budgeting, financial planning, and special projects.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hotel industry or real estate.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with guidance.
  • CPA or other relevant certification is an advantage but not required.
