Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day accounting operations for the hotel department, including recording financial transactions and preparing reconciliations.

Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts under the guidance of senior staff.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal controls relevant to the hotel sector.

Prepare journal entries and support general ledger reconciliations for hotel-related accounts.

Generate routine financial reports and provide data to senior accountants or the Finance Manager for review.

Collaborate with other departments (Operations, Sales) by providing basic financial data and assisting with performance analysis.

Support the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations specific to the hotel industry.

Participate in internal audits by providing documentation and ensuring accuracy of financial records.

Stay updated on accounting standards and practices relevant to the hospitality sector.

Assist the Finance Manager and senior accountants in budgeting, financial planning, and special projects.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hotel industry or real estate.

Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with guidance.

CPA or other relevant certification is an advantage but not required.
