Food & Beverage Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join our team and play a vital role in the financial health of our F&B operations. You will be responsible for all aspects of accounting specific to our food and beverage business, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers for F&B, including accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost control, property, operating expenses, and insurance.
• Process daily F&B transactions, reconcile bank statements, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for F&B operations, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial performance metrics, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide insights to management for informed decision-making.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, managing vendor payments and customer collections.
• Coordinate and prepare F&B payroll .
• Stay up-to-date on relevant F&B accounting regulations and ensure compliance.
• Prepare and manage reports for internal and external audits.
• Participate in the monthly closing process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the F&B industry.
• Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month
