Accountant

Must have relevant experience in using Accounting Software Sage 50 and Quick Book Online, MicroSoft Office 365

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
• Record and monitor daily financial transactions accurately.
• Issue invoices and follow up to ensure timely payment collection.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
• Manage general ledger accounts, perform reconciliations, and make adjustments when required.
• Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of all transactions.
• Prepare monthly and yearly budgets and financial forecasts; report findings to management.
• Apply strong knowledge and understanding of International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Work independently with strong self-motivation and attention to detail.
• Maintain and update employee salary records.
• Prepare and process SIF files and manage WPS payroll in compliance with regulations.
• Handle accounting tasks up to finalization, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure timely compliance with all tax requirements, including tax return filing with the GTA.
• Experience with the ICV certification process is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or demolition.
• Strong knowledge of project-based accounting and job costing.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, ERP, etc.).
• Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting).
• Strong understanding of local tax regulations, invoicing, WPS, and compliance.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong ethics, confidentiality, and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR4,500.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
