Position: Accountant
About Position: We are looking for Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance Department in Muscat, Oman
Qualification and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum three to five years relevant experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Hands on experience working with General Ledgers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
- Proficient with EPR Systems (SAP or Oracle).
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, analysis and reconcile, General Ledger, Debtors, Creditors, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliations.
- Post Journal Entries for accrued expenses, recurring entries, and revenue, maintaining Fixed Assets and Depreciation, Amortization etc.
- Prepare and file local compliance reports as necessary (VAT).
- Oman Tax awareness would be an advantage (VAT, Corporate Tax, and Labor compliance like Pension, WPS etc.)
- Prepare MIS Reports, Inventories Reports and reconciliation, Internal Audit exposure.
- Act as a liaison for vendors and client to reconcile any billing discrepancies and payments, discounts rates etc.
- Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft programs especially the Excel.
- Well-presented, honest, ethical, and dependable.
- Batchelor’s and Master’s Degree in Accounts and Finance.
- Preference for immediate joiners.
