1- Record and maintain all financial transactions in accordance with IFRS / accounting standards.

2- Manage AP/AR, supplier reconciliations, invoices, and payment schedules.

3- Prepare project-wise cost reports, monitor site expenses, and coordinate with project managers.

4 - Assist with monthly closing, bank reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.

5- Support cashflow preparation, forecasting, and petty cash control for construction sites.

6- Handle subcontractor payments, retention accounting, and progress billing.

7- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

8- Prepare required documentation for audits, management reports, and compliance.

9- Ensure all financial data is accurate, timely, and properly documented.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a General Accountant, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting and cost allocation.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP).
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple sites and handle time-sensitive tasks.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
