Accountant

Scarsdale School's newest branch in Bahria Town is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with at least 3.5 years of professional experience who has completed articles. The ideal candidate possesses strong skills in financial reporting, account reconciliation, tax preparation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions.

Experience:

• Ideally, 3-4 years of experience.
• Completed articles.
• Degree from a reputable and accredited accounting program.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial reports and maintain organized records.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and reconcile ledgers regularly.
• Handle tax documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Support monthly/quarterly/annual closings.
• Assist with budgeting/forecasting and coordinate with other departments.
• Recommend improvements to financial processes and controls.
