Accountant

Job Description:

We are a leading Civil Contracting firm specialized in infrastructure projects across the UAE. We are seeking an Accountant in Dependent visa (Husband/Father) with 4+ years of experience in the construction/infrastructure sector, with a strong understanding of UAE accounting standards, project-based costing, and VAT regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-cycle accounting for infrastructure and civil projects
• Managing accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Handling project cost tracking, allocation, and reporting
• Coordinating with project managers to maintain accurate job costing
• Ensuring compliance with UAE VAT laws, including VAT filings and reporting
• Payroll processing and WPS compliance
• Liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and banks
• Managing petty cash and expense reports
• Maintaining proper documentation and records for all transactions
• Supporting management with financial insights and forecasting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in civil contracting or infrastructure projects in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and filing processes
• Experience with project-based accounting and cost control
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems)
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Good command of English (Hindi is a plus)
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
