Job Summary

Agri Commodities is looking for a qualified and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, prepare financial statements, ensure compliance, and support management with accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete books of accounts (Sales, Purchases, Expenses, Assets & Liabilities)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage bank reconciliation statements
• Handle accounts receivable & payable
• Prepare balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow
• Ensure tax compliance (Sales Tax, Income Tax, Withholding Tax)
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants
• Maintain inventory and cost records (especially agri commodities)
• Assist management in budgeting and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (ACCA/CA Inter preferred)
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles & taxation
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Peachtree, SAP, or similar)
• Good command of MS Excel
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience in trading / agri commodities / import-export
• Knowledge of bank financing & documentation
• Good communication and coordination skills
