Job Summary

Ideal School, Qatar is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting & Inventory Officer to manage daily accounting operations and inventory control for school canteens and catering units. The role focuses on financial accuracy, compliance, POS controls, and inventory monitoring, in line with school policies and Qatar regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and close daily sales across all POS outlets
• Reconcile cash and electronic payments and monitor bank deposits
• Control inventory movements including internal supply, dispatches, and returns
• Monitor and approve return notes in line with approved thresholds
• Prepare daily and weekly sales, inventory, and performance reports
• Identify variances, issue alerts, and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with approved accounting, inventory, and control procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting and inventory control (F&B / catering / multi-outlet experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory control, and daily closing
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work independently
• Familiarity with compliance and internal control standards
• Immediate joiners preferred
