Accountant

Key Responsibilities

- Record day-to-day financial transactions (AP, AR, petty cash, bank postings).

- Prepare and reconcile supplier invoices, staff reimbursements, and expense claims.

- Maintain proper filing of supporting documents for audit and compliance.

- Assist in VAT workings and other statutory filings.

- Reconcile bank accounts, customer accounts, and supplier balances.

- Support payroll processing (attendance, overtime, basic salary entries).

- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts by ensuring timely and accurate entries.

- Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager and experienced accountant as needed.

Qualifications / Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

- 1 - 2 + years of accounting experience

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and MS Excel.

- Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and willing to grow in a structured finance environment.
