Job Title: Accountant

Location: Maymar Industrial Area, Karachi

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations for our textile manufacturing business. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in accounting functions preferably within a textile environment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate shall be looking after the below, but not limited to:

• Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements etc.
• Managing accounts payable/receivable and inventory costing etc.
• Ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and company policies etc.
• Monitor production costs and provide insights for cost optimization.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Support management with financial planning and decision-making..
• Other tasks as assigned by the Management.

Requirements:

• Professional qualification (ACCA OR CA or equivalent) is mandatory. (Or Finalists may also apply)
• 8 to 12 years of proven accounting experience, specifically in the textile industry.
• Strong knowledge of textile industry cost structures (yarn, fabric, garments).
• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
• Familiarity with taxation laws, import/export documentation, and compliance requirements in Pakistan.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented mindset with leadership potential.

Working Days & Timings:

Monday to Saturday: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Sunday: Off

Residents of Maymar, scheme 33 or nearby and who can join immediately shall be preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs200,000.00 per month
