Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to oversee inventory accounting and ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on inventory management experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records by recording all inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and shipments, ensuring proper valuation in accordance with IFRS.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Reconcile stock ledgers to the general ledger and investigate discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare comprehensive inventory reports for management, including:
• Inventory turnover reports
• Slow-moving inventory analysis
• Obsolete inventory reports
• Partner with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to optimize inventory levels and improve accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial reporting standards.
• Support internal and external audit requirements related to inventory.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, with strong focus on inventory accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and inventory valuation methods.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification (preferred).
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or retail environments.

Salary rate will be considered based on work proficiency, experience, and demonstrated performance. We offer competitive compensation aligned with skills, expertise, and contribution to the organization.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,300.00 per month
