Job Summary

Gilani Mobility is looking for a qualified Accountant to handle and support the company’s financial operations. The position involves preparing financial reports, monitoring cash flow, managing accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical abilities, advanced Excel knowledge, and the capability to provide clear and reliable financial insights to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update cash flow forecasts for all incoming and outgoing transactions
• Oversee the general ledger and maintain accurate balance sheet entries
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements
• Conduct account reconciliations and review financial activity for accuracy
• Evaluate financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential issues
• Assist with budgeting and monitor spending against approved limits
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure timely reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Maintain organized financial records for audits and internal reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting)
• Experience with accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar software
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Solid understanding of reconciliations and balance sheet management
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
