Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant with strong accounting fundamentals and working knowledge of trading activities. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a night shift environment and handling financial operations aligned with international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards
• Handle day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Monitor and account for trading transactions (equity/derivatives/commodities as applicable)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accurate recording of profits, losses, margins, and trading-related expenses
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls
• Support MIS reporting and management dashboards
• Work closely with global teams during night shift hours

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Practical understanding of trading operations and financial markets
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Ability to analyze financial and trading data accurately
• Good communication and coordination skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s in Accounting
• Male candidate (as per operational requirement)
• Willingness to work in night shifts
• Prior experience in trading, brokerage, investment, or finance-related environments preferred

Preferred Attributes

• Experience working with international clients or markets
• Knowledge of taxation related to trading income
• Ability to work independently and under pressur
