Accountant

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our company’s financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support strategic financial decisions. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accepted policies and procedures
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and payroll
• Prepare and file VAT returns and other tax-related documentation
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes
• Ensure timely reporting of all financial information
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5 years of proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

Preferred:

• Experience working in a project-led business environment (e.g., construction, design, consulting)
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and WPS payroll system
• Professional certifications (CA, ACCA, CPA) are a plus but not mandatory to have
