We are seeking an Accountant to join our hospitality team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the hospitality, tourism, or service industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, expense management, and cost control.
- Experience coordinating with government entities, especially the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) Abu Dhabi.
- Ability to prepare and submit monthly financial and operational reports to management and DCT.
- Proficiency in handling accounts payable and receivable, supplier and vendor coordination, and purchase processes.
- stock and inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial and expense reports for management and DCT Abu Dhabi.
- Coordinate with the Tourism Department and other government bodies for compliance and reporting.
- Manage supplier and vendor accounts, ensuring timely payments and reconciliations.
- Handle procurement activities and maintain accurate purchase records.
- Oversee inventory and stock management processes.
- Support internal audits and ensure financial accuracy in all hospitality operations.
