Job Summary

We are a growing carpentry workshop looking for a detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper. In this role, you will manage our daily financial operations and work closely with our Procurement Manager to ensure project costs and supplier payments are tracked accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Tracking: Record daily income and expenses; manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Documentation: Prepare invoices, and purchase orders.
• Project Costing: Track material, labor, and overhead costs to ensure project profitability.
• Procurement Collaboration: Coordinate with the Procurement Manager on supplier payments and inventory cost tracking.
• Reporting & Payroll: Manage monthly payroll and prepare comprehensive financial reports for management.
• Tax Compliance: Handle FTA (Federal Tax Authority) calculations and VAT filings accurately.
• Budgeting: Support cost control initiatives and budgeting for various carpentry and construction projects.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Industry Knowledge: Previous UAE experience in the carpentry, joinery, or construction industry is highly preferred.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and FTA filing processes.
• Soft Skills: High level of accuracy, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
