Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our contracting business.

Key responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations

• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare invoices and follow up on payments
• Manage project-based accounting and cost tracking
• Prepare monthly financial reports and cash flow statements
• Bank reconciliations
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting
• Handle VAT/tax filings
• Coordinate with auditors and management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance
• Minimum [5-10] years' experience (experience in contracting/construction preferred)
• Knowledge of project accounting and cost control
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
• Strong Excel skills
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Experience in fire protection or construction industry

• Knowledge of progress billing and retention accounting
