Richmond Properties is seeking an experienced
Senior Accountant
to oversee and strengthen the company's financial operations as the business continues to grow. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting leadership with accurate financial insights to guide business decisions.
This role requires a highly organised finance professional with strong technical accounting skills and experience managing accounting functions within a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting

Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and maintain the general ledger

Manage profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reporting

Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making
Accounts & Controls

Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
-
Monitor company expenses and ensure financial controls are followed

Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial records
-
Manage payroll coordination and expense reimbursements
Compliance & Audit

Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and tax requirements

Manage VAT filings and maintain accurate VAT records
-
Prepare documentation and support external audits
-
Maintain strong internal controls and financial policies
Budgeting & Forecasting

Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
-
Monitor financial performance against budgets

Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for financial improvement
Systems & Process Improvement

Improve financial processes, reporting systems, and controls
-
Work closely with leadership to enhance financial planning and operational efficiency
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA preferred
-
5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within real estate or a similar industry
-
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance

Experience with accounting software and financial reporting systems

Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing company
