Accountant

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and reconciling bank statements. Additional responsibilities include monitoring budgets, processing payroll, and supporting financial audits. The Accountant will collaborate closely with other team members to maintain accurate and organized financial documentation.

Qualifications

Proficiency in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting

Understanding of tax laws, regulatory compliance, and audit procedures

Strong skills in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable management

Proficiency in using accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks or equivalent

Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is advantageous

Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is a plus
