Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, with hands-on experience in reconciliations, payment processing, and accounting systems. This role requires a high level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in a structured financial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain clearing accounts
• Reconcile client deposits and withdrawals accurately and timely
• Manage and reconcile PSP settlements, including card payments, refunds, chargebacks, and transaction fees
• Maintain accurate financial records using Xero or similar accounting software
• Prepare and support VAT filings in compliance with UAE regulations
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions
• Prepare reconciliation reports and supporting schedules
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in brokerage, fintech, trading, or financial services
• Hands-on experience with Xero or similar accounting systems
• Strong experience in bank reconciliation and clearing accounts
• Practical knowledge of PSP settlements and payment flows
• Experience handling client funds, including deposits and withdrawals reconciliation
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT compliance
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, reconciliation sheets, matching functions)
• High attention to detail with a strong reconciliation mindset
• Ability to work in a controlled and structured financial environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage
