Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage the financial operations of our interior design studio. The role involves overseeing financial records, managing project-related expenses, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and UAE regulations.

The ideal candidate will support the studio’s leadership with accurate financial reporting and help maintain efficient financial systems that support project execution and company growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Coordinate and place orders .
• Assisting at the office if required
• Preparing tax documents

Project Accounting

• Track project budgets and expenses related to interior design projects.
• Monitor procurement costs including materials, furniture, and contractor payments.
• Ensure financial tracking aligns with project timelines and budgets.
• Prepare cost reports for ongoing projects.

Payroll & Employee Payments

• Process monthly payroll and employee benefits.
• Prepare salary certificates and financial documentation when required.
• Monitor staff expenses and reimbursements.

Invoices & Client Payments

• Follow up on client payments and maintain payment schedules.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure accurate billing.
• Issue invoices for design services and project milestones.

Procurement & Vendor Payments

• Manage supplier invoices and payment schedules.
• Track furniture, materials, and contractor payments.
• Maintain records of purchase orders and contracts.

Compliance & Tax

• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting regulations and VAT requirements.
• Prepare VAT returns and financial statements.
• Coordinate with external auditors when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience, preferably in architecture, interior design, construction, or consulting industries.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, etc.).
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
