Accountant – Job Profile

Job Title: Accountant
Department: Finance / Accounts
Reports To: Senior Accountant / Finance Manager

Job Summary

An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accuracy in financial data, and supporting business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions in accounting systems
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Support audits by providing required financial data
  • Monitor expenses and help control costs

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP)
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Tally)
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
