Job Description:

A to Z Furniture is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s complete accounting operations independently. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with minimal supervision.

This is a senior-level role within the accounting function, requiring strong expertise in UAE accounting practices and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complete end-to-end accounting operations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable (POs, invoices, payments, receipts)
• Maintain and update general ledger and financial records
• Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
• Ensure timely VAT filing and compliance as per UAE regulations
• Review and verify all purchase orders, billing, and payment documentation
• Monitor company expenses and support budget control
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Coordinate with auditors during internal/external audits
• Provide financial reports and insights to management

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-4years accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with ZOHO/ ERP systems / Excel
• Solid understanding ofUAE VAT regulations
• Ability to handle work independently without supervision
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent

Preferred:

• Experience in furniture industry
• Handling inventory-based accounting systems
• Exposure to high-volume transactions
