The role of an Accountant with Accounting, procurement duties, ensuring efficient financial management and effective purchasing processes within an organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Duties:-
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Prepare and maintain financial documents such as invoices, bills, and bank statements.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial objectives.
- Handle general administrative tasks as needed.
- Procurement Duties:
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiations.
- Handle purchase orders and inventory control.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier prices and quality.
- Optimize procurement processes for cost efficiency.
- Maintain procurement documentation and records.
Qualifications:-
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an accountant, with at least 2 years in a purchasing role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of UAE accounting regulations and procurement processes is preferred
