Accountant

Accurate Fabrication, a leading metal fabricator located in Hartford WI, is seeking a detail orientated Accountant that will work under the supervision of the Controller.

Precision Metal Holdings (PM) was established in 2020 with the vision of acquiring metal fabrication companies and scaling them through operational excellence, talent development, and a unified strategic direction.

That vision became reality with the acquisition of Accurate Fabrication in July 2021 and General Metals in January 2022. Since acquisition, PMH has brought two facilities together under one shared vision and operating philosophy, while preserving the strengths and local expertise of each business.

PMH’s values center around integrity, continuous improvement, customer focus, and safety & quality, and the company is executing a growth strategy that is expected to approximately double sales over the next two years. This growth is being driven primarily by PM’s participation in the rapidly expanding data center market, which continues to generate strong, sustained demand for high-quality, metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accounts payable duties; to include but not limited to matching receivers with invoices and entering into the Accounts Payable software; Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing and payment; Process payments weekly
• Perform accounts receivable duties; to include but not limited to daily billing for prior day product shipped; Apply payments on accounts and process deposits remotely to the bank
• Payroll duties; to include but not limited to processing payroll bi-weekly and posting journal entries; Submit 401K contributions bi-weekly
• Maintain the Accounting email inbox
• Update the daily sales charts for internal posting
• Assist in year-end 1099 processing
• Assist with annual audit

Qualifications:

• Associated Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
• Computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Demonstrated high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Understanding of expense accounts and cost centers
• Understanding of AP compliance issues (W-9, Sales Tax, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
