Chicago's premier property management company is now hiring once again! Breakaway Management specializes in condominium, townhome, and homeowner association management in Chicago and surrounding suburbs.

We're looking for an accountant with condominium management experience to join us on a part-time basis. We offer competitive compensation and flexible schedules.

About the Role:
This is a hybrid part-time (20 hours) position working out of our Evanston office 1 to 2 days a week as needed. There's potential for working fully remote over time.

Responsibilities:
- Handle payables (A/P) and assist with collections (A/R)
- Assist with account reconciliation at the end of each month
- Assist with preparing 1099s for vendors
- Assist with filing state & federal taxes for our clients
- Assist with preparing annual budgets
- Address accounting questions from our managers, clients, and vendors

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Must have at least 5 years of experience using QuickBooks (desktop)
- Knowledge of condominium and homeowner associations preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and web-based applications
- Must have strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills

Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience using QuickBooks (desktop) required

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
