What we expect

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support margin analysis and financial performance reporting
• Assist in cost accounting activities, including analysis of manufacturing costs and variances
• Analyze inventory levels, material usage, and finished goods to ensure accurate valuation
• Compare actual production costs (materials and labor) against estimates and identify variances
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure accurate capture of production and operational costs
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with internal controls
• Assist in maintaining and improving accounting processes and internal controls
• Participate in cross-functional communication to support financial accuracy across departments
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within accounting and financial processes

Who we are looking for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of accounting experience (manufacturing or cost accounting experience preferred)
• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency required)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cost accounting or manufacturing environments
• Progress toward CPA certification
• Experience working with financial systems and databases
• Work Environment
• Office-based or hybrid work environment
• Collaborative, cross-functional team setting
