Industry: Contracting / Construction

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily financial transactions and full accounting work in Quickbooks and Excel(AP/AR, bank reconciliation, General ledger, Petty Cash, Sales etc. with proper accounting documentation)
  • Prepare payable and Cheque vouchers
  • Prepare financial reports and project cost reports
  • Manage Cash flow and Assist in budgeting
  • Handle and process WPS payroll, VAT/tax filing, and compliance with local regulations
  • Handle and monitor Petty Cash
  • Manage filing systems (manual and electronic) for contracts, invoices, and project documents
  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and suppliers
  • Other tasks as needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a contracting/construction company
  • Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, or ERP systems)
  • Knowledge of VAT and local financial regulations
  • Strong Accounting and MS Office skills (Excel, Word,)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including drafting letters

Salary & Benefits: AED 5,000

Pay: AED5,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
