Motion Recruitment Partners (LLC) is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join a high performing team working remotely, responsible for monthly entries, reconciliations, and GL team support.

Job Responsibilities

· Manages the LinkedIn accrual entries specific to IT Staffing, Science and Goal business lines, ensuring all associated LinkedIn campaign costs are properly accrued, coded to the correct cost centers, and posted to the general ledger in a timely manner.

· Performs the reclassification of medical insurance expense entries, reviewing and correcting any transactions to ensure all medical insurance costs are allocated to the appropriate general ledger accounts, departments, and cost centers for accurate financial reporting.

· Records and maintains the monthly paid time off (PTO) accrual entries specific to the Telecom business line, ensuring that earned but unused PTO liability is accurately reflected on the balance sheet in accordance with the company's PTO policy and applicable accounting standards.

· Prepares and posts the company-wide PTO accrual journal entries, calculating accrued PTO balances based on employee eligibility and hours earned, and ensuring the corresponding liability accounts are updated accurately to reflect current outstanding obligations.

· Executes the reclassification of AM (Account Management) severance-related expenses to the Kelly entity, ensuring intercompany allocations are correctly processed, documented, and reconciled between entities for accurate consolidated reporting.

· Processes and records all journal entries related to the third wave of severance payments, including accruing outstanding severance obligations, verifying payment calculations against approved severance agreements, and ensuring proper GL account coding in compliance with internal controls.

· Handles the reclassification of Denver office rent expense entries to the Seven-step entity, ensuring that occupancy costs are correctly allocated, supporting documentation is maintained, and all intercompany entries are balanced and reconciled per established accounting procedures.

· Manages and records shared services allocations for the Seven-step entity, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure all shared costs — including administrative, operational, and overhead expenses — are properly allocated, documented, and posted in accordance with the shared services agreement.

· Remain adaptable to new / changing job responsibilities.


Qualifications (Minimum):

· Education & Experience: College degree (Accounting)

· 4+ years of Accounting Experience

· Must demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of an accounting team.

· Flexible to meet the needs of the business, including but not limited to, potential changes to reporting structure and job responsibilities.

· Strong work ethic.

· Strong independent problem-solving skills.

· Effective written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work with Microsoft excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Office environment.

· Ability to be productive and work efficiently with assigned accounting tasks.

· Ability to be an effective team player.

· Comfortable working EST hours.

Preferred:

· Experience using Workday.

· Experience working remotely for an international company.
