Accountant – Wood Industry

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company's financial records, accounting transactions, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate should have 3–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the wood, timber, manufacturing, or trading industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Reconcile inventory records and monitor stock valuation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, auditors, and banks.
• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and statutory requirements.
• Support payroll processing and employee expense management.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, trading, or wood/timber industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, ERP, or SAP.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, and VAT compliance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
