Accountant

Job Summary

V Perfumes is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, VAT, financial reporting, and daily finance operations.

The candidate must be able to manage accounts properly, maintain accurate records, and support the finance team with reports and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting entries and bookkeeping.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, payments, and expense records.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries.
• Support VAT filing and maintain VAT-related documents.
• Verify bills, purchase invoices, and payment requests.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents.
• Assist in payroll-related accounting when required.
• Coordinate with internal teams for payment, invoice, and account-related matters.
• Support year-end closing and audit requirements.
• Ensure all accounting records are accurate and updated on time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and basic accounting standards.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to prepare reports and maintain accurate financial records.
• Good attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Must be available in the UAE.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in retail, perfume, FMCG, or e-commerce industry will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems is preferred.
• UAE experience is preferred.
