Job Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Process payroll or coordinate payroll activities, as required.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
• Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation and filing systems.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications.

• Minimum of 2–5 years of accounting experience (or as required).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g.Zoho).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.

AED 3500 – 4500 per month
