Job Title: Accountant – FMCG Industry

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in the FMCG industry to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing financial transactions, inventory accounting, receivables, payables, and financial reporting within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journals, and ledgers.
• Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, and supplier accounts.
• Monitor inventory transactions and ensure accurate inventory valuation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Process supplier payments and customer collections.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support finance-related reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in the FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, ERP systems, or similar).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA is an advantage.
• Experience working with distributors, wholesalers, or modern trade customers in the FMCG sector.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
